Lakshmir Bhandar is a premier DBT scheme by the West Bengal government providing monthly financial support to female heads of households. In 2026, the benefit amount was increased to help women cope with inflation.

• General/OBC: ?1,500 per month
• SC/ST: ?1,700 per month
• Direct bank transfer in the first week of every month
• No middlemen involved

• Female resident of West Bengal
• Age between 25 to 60 years
• Low-income household
• Must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account

• Aadhaar Card
• Bank Passbook (Aadhaar linked)
• Khashyasathi Card
• SC/ST Certificate (if applicable)
• Passport size photo

1. Apply via Duare Sarkar camps (periodic)
2. Or register online on the official WB social welfare portal
