• Subsidy of ?30,000 to ?78,000 depending on plant capacity
• Lower electricity bills for surplus power
• Low-interest collateral-free loans for installation

• Indian citizens with a rooftop suitable for solar panels
• Valid electricity connection
• The household must have its own roof

• Electricity Bill (last 6 months)
• Aadhaar Card
• Bank Passbook
• Photograph of the roof

1. Register on the National Portal (pmsuryaghar.gov.in)
2. Apply for Rooftop Solar
3. Wait for feasibility approval from DISCOM
4. Install plant through empanelled vendors
5. Apply for net meter and subsidy
